Teacher-After-Care

I am Miss Chanel. I started at Children Central in March 2010. I am the teacher of the after-care class, as I truly enjoy creating weekly lesson plans for various subjects. We have enjoyed learning about topics such as dental health month and learning proper oral hygiene practices, or when the children taught me all they had learned about Martin Luther King. Interacting with the older children at our school is always a highlight of my day at Children Central. I sometimes also assist as a floater around the school, which means I help out in whichever classroom I may be needed throughout the day.

I currently attend Bucks County Community College where I study Biology Pre- Med. My dream is to become a pediatrician and continue my career helping children not only learn, but to keep them healthy.

I have a strong passion for children of all age groups. My hobbies include spending time with family and close friends, and just enjoying life to the fullest. From the moment I walked into Children Central, I felt such a warm welcome from each and every individual. Children Central is a wonderful place for your child to grasp high learning standards. Working at Children Central enables me to continue working with children and pursue my career dream to one day become a pediatrician!
